List of Books Banned in India | इन किताबों को कर दिया गया भारत में बैन
किताबें हमारे जीवन में महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखती हैं, ज्ञान को बढ़ावा देने के साथ किताबें बुद्धि को उन्नत करती हैं, ऐतिहासिक और समकालीन वैश्विक घटनाओं के बारे में जागरूकता रूबरू करती हैं। हर साल हजारों की संख्या में अलग-अलग भाषाओं में किताबें प्रकाशित होती हैं, लेकिन कई बार लेखक किताबों में कुछ ऐसा लिख जाते हैं, जो पाठकों को अच्छा नहीं लगता, जिससे पुस्तक पर भारी विवाद हो जाता है। भारत में ऐसा कई बार हुआ है, कि किताब प्रकाशित होने के बाद लेखक के खिलाफ लोगों का गुस्सा उमड़ पड़ा । ऐसे में विवादित किताबों पर सरकार बैन लगा देती है।

Rangila Rasul | रंगीला रसूल
रंगीला रसूल (Rangila Rasul) 1920 में प्रकाशित पुस्तक है, जो लाहौर के महाशय राजपाल ने प्रकाशित की थी। इसके लेखक 'चामुपति एम ए' व किशन प्रसाद प्रताब थे,यह पुस्तक बहुत विवादास्पद सिद्ध हुई। इसमें पैगम्बर मुहम्मद के विवाह एवं गृहस्थ जीवन का वर्णन किया गया है। यह पुस्तक मूलतः उर्दू में छपी थी किन्तु बाद में इसका हिन्दी संस्करण भी प्रकाशित हुआ। यह पुस्तक आज तक भारत, पाकिस्तान और बांग्लादेश में प्रतिबन्धित है।
